Viateur Girard has been at the helm of DV Hardwoods since it was founded in 1992. His professional background prepared him to play a leading role in this industry. He has 30 years experience in the forestry sector. He is a certified  log classifier and a wood grader.

Mr. Girard’s motivation for establishing his company was his desire to work directly with clients and suppliers. His extensive knowledge of the entire production process enables him to better relate with his employees and he is committed to transmitting his personal values of confidence, honesty and respect to those around him.
